Summer School
Typically the Richmond County School System provides summer programs for students who have had difficulty mastering the SOL tests or for beginning readers who lack the readiness skills needed to master reading. Summer programs are usually offered from 8:30 a.m. until noon during the month of July and transportation is provided. SOL scores are not available until June; therefore, final summer plans will be made once these scores are received. Information about the grades to be served, dates and locations of the SOL classes will be available during May.
